General Terms and Conditions
Please read these General Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) carefully before using this website and any services described on it. These T&Cs outline the general conditions for medical care services provided in Lithuania. All specific arrangements and/or conditions regarding healthcare services will be agreed individually between each patient and the healthcare provider.
UAB “NORTHWAY MEDICINOS CENTRAI” (“NMC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in the Republic of Lithuania, legal entity code 111807761, with a registered address at S. Žukausko g. 19, Vilnius, Lithuania.
This website is published by NMC to provide information and access to high-quality medical services in Lithuania at competitive prices. Services may be provided by NMC or by UAB “Northway chirurgijos centras” (“NCHC”), legal entity code 300064600, also registered at S. Žukausko g. 19, Vilnius, Lithuania.
NMC and NCHC operate modern medical facilities and are among the leading private healthcare providers in Lithuania. As both entities are licensed for different healthcare services, their responsibilities depend on the specific services provided to the patient.
Prices and Services
Prices listed on the website are indicative and provided before consultation or diagnosis. Final prices are confirmed only after medical evaluation and will be specified in the Contract.
Prices do not include additional services such as:

Travel to and from Lithuania

Accommodation outside clinic facilities

Transfers

Personal expenses
The total cost may include:

Diagnostic tests

Treatment or surgery

Hospital stay (if required)
Additional tests or procedures may be required based on the Patient’s condition and will incur extra costs.
Patients are responsible for organising and paying for their own travel and accommodation unless otherwise agreed.
Patient Contract
The Contract governs all healthcare services provided, including consultations, treatments, and procedures.
If there is any conflict:

The Contract takes priority over these T&Cs

The Contract overrides website or marketing information
NMC and/or NCHC may reschedule procedures due to medical, technical, or operational reasons. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date but are not responsible for costs such as flights or accommodation.
Before treatment, healthcare specialists will explain the proposed treatment plan. Patients must ensure they fully understand it.
All medical procedures carry risks, and results cannot be guaranteed. This includes cosmetic and fertility treatments. No refunds are provided for unsuccessful outcomes.
Patients must follow all medical advice and aftercare instructions. Failure to do so may affect results and liability.
Remote Services
Remote consultations are available but may not be suitable for all conditions.
They should not be used in emergencies or when physical examination is required.
Technical issues may occasionally affect availability.
Complaints and Liability
If you have a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve it.
All services are provided in accordance with Lithuanian law.
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
Data Protection
We comply with all applicable data protection laws.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes shall be resolved in Lithuanian courts.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
We may use artificial intelligence-assisted tools to support content preparation, translation, administrative processes or customer service. All medical information and patient communications are subject to appropriate human review.
We do not rely solely on artificial intelligence to make medical decisions or determine treatment. Where AI-assisted tools process personal data, such processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
